If the Huddersfield game turns out to be a winner takes all affair and we only get the 3,800 tickets and no more would the club consider doing a live beam back feed to Oakwell? Strong possibility of being a live Sky game. Big screen on the middle of the pitch and open either the Ponty or East Stand. Say £5 per person and free for kids/over 65s. Just a thought.
Will add it to the list of questions for tomorrow. Anyone got an idea of cost for hiring such a screen? (I know its expensive)
Ive no idea but I would imagine hire costs have dropped as big screens technology has become cheaper and more available. It would be better to go along with an idea of cost.
Depends on cost. I seem to think last time it cost in the region of £15K to hire. (Could be mistaken). If its on Sky it would also have an impace on viability.
Don't even know if we'll sell out, so can't imagine there being that many looking to watch it on a screen.
If it is on Sky.... It would make sense opening the legends suite and just cane the bar, or a fiver door is reasonable too. Shift a couple more tellys in from the other suites. The Glavin room can hold a few too. If Spud's not going to the match get him in, Sky is already paid for. Sir Bobby's yer uncle!
