    Dear Patrick

    I consider myself to be one of your greatest admirers and have publicly defended you on this board from those calling for you to move on / find alternative owners etc.

    I believe that all Barnsley fans should be eternally grateful for what you have done and I still believe that you are the best man to take the club forward.

    However, as a fellow fan I now implore you to sack Simon Davey as a matter of urgency. Please do not allow him to undo all of your hard work by leading us to relegation. He has given us some amazing FA Cup memories but that counts for nothing this year and his record speaks for itself.

    Please please I understand your wanting stability but not at the expense of our current status in the Championship.

    we really now need to bombard the club and the chronicle and the Yorky post, and Radio Sheffield to get this man removed
