I might be in with an opportunity of early severance soon, and my boss says I would make a good fudge packer. I thought therefore I might give it a try.

Does anybody know any suitable openings in the sweetie industry that I might take advantage of.

I am conscientious and hard working, and willing to try every point of access, even if it means an entrance exam.

Serious replies only please. No dross.

Not sure about the confectionary business

But there's an opening in horticulture. You'd need to be a gardener able to work with slopes (uphill mostly). And not afraid to get your hands dirty.

Would it involve the use of fertilisers?

Only I prefer bone to bonemeal.

You'd have to be familiar with hoes and someone would have to see your wheelbarrow technique.

I'd steer clear of the Fudge Packing business. Its never been more than a cottage industry, and as such it may all go bottom-up in the near future.

That's all very well for you to say, but I have a rare opportunity to expose my real attributes, and I want to ring the changes.

If that means changing the rings as well, then so be it.
