    Gas (privatised by Tories)
    Electric (privatised by Tories)
    Water (privatised by Tories)
Mortgage rates - far lower than under the Tories

If my wage went up in line with my Council Tax then I'd be well happy.

    Unfortunately, it doesn't.

Not by enough though, the pay rise I got in July ........

...... was eclipsed by all the price rises by the end of October, so that's me out of pocket for the next 8 months till my next wage increase that will once again fail to match all the price increases (and I have a decent wage so god help those who don't)

    How old are you?

That isn't meant to be insulting. I just reckon you don't remember the economy under the Tories.

There was an economy under the Tories ???

    Not in Yorkshire there wasn't.

Unless asset stripping is an economy.

Doesn't matter who is in power, they will all screw the country over!! We shouldnt expect anything else other than rises each year!!

Im 25, so can only judge on what happens now and not in the past. Im well aware of the government antics in the 80's.

...... I'm not a Tory and have never voted for them, I'm a miners son and proud of it, just very disillusioned with the Labour government robbing me blind on every commodity I use .... oh and getting **** pay rises imposed on me that come nowehere near covering all the additional expense
