Out of interest. How does someone sat in the house of commons doing nowt if they aren't planned to deliver a speech or take part in a vote mean they are representing their constituency more than someone not there? Except for PMQ's or major votes, the chamber is almost always just a handful of MP's.
There are literally 100s of things he could have been doing, other than being at the Republican conference. I very much doubt Trump & Vance have the people of Clacton high on their agenda.
How do you know that he wasn't doing that. Most MP's even in the commons just sit looking at their mobile phones. I have no idea what my MP is doing right now, he's not sat in the commons. Not defending him specifically, just wondered why you had singled him out over any other missing MP. I guess we'll soon know form the voices within Clacton as to whether he is neglecting his duties. It was reported that Farage actually engineered David Lammy a meeting with Donald Trumps top team prior to the election, so maybe him being there with our close relationship with the US isn't such a bad thing.
True, but generally so early in his tenure any decent MP would be spending time in their constituency, speaking to the people there, not tazzing off the the USA to flirt with them other fascists.

Prior to the election he wasn't foreign secretary and didn't have any sway to go to the US. That was my point, that link between Farage set up the meeting whilst the Tories were still in power isn't a bad thing seen as Trump is a shoe in for the Presidential elections.

No. But if you asked is Farage a Fasict my answer would be different. Farage is going to this Trump convention and he will be addressing this convention as a British M.P. along with Truss ex-P.M. as though the British parliament is on Trump's side.
Even if it did mean that our parliament was backing Trump, which it seems very very far fetched to think that anybody in political circles would read it that way, well it's a safe bet. No way Biden wins in November.
