Hi all,

The Eve Merton Dreams Trust is a non profit organisation that donates the money it raises to help create a dream for a terminally or seriously ill cancer patient in the Doncaster area.

On Sunday 23rd May, there will be a charity football match featuring a team of fundraisers from the Yorkshire area (predominantly Doncaster Rovers) against a team of ex-football stars. Last year, the team included former European Cup winner Alan Kennedy, ex-England players such as Des Walker, ex-Premier League players such as Lee Hendrie - as well as BFC's own fundraising star Bruce Dyer. The event will take place at the Keepmoat Stadium.

Last year I helped with organising the event which raised in excess of £25,000 and also played a part in arranging for my work company (Minster Law Solicitors) to sponsor the event. This year I have asked to play in the event - which I have happily agreed to do - and am looking to raise as much money as I can for the cause.

If anyone wishes to donate, that would be fantastic - however large or small.

Alternatively, if anyone has any ideas at all for ways that I can raise money (I'm already arranging a raffle at work, as well as a couple of other events mainly through work) then please fire them at me.
