Home game several years ago, can't remember who against, Mike Lester went in for a tackle and the ball got stuck. Players from both sides dived in and formed a melee (like a scrum in rugby).

Eventually the ref blew and signalled for a drop ball

One by one the players extricated themselves from the melee, until Mike Lester was left at the bottom.

The ref went to get the ball for the bounce up but no ball in sight - the players started hunting around for the ball but it was nowhere to be seen

Eventuall Mike Lester produced it from up his shirt - right laugh it was :D :D

Was that when Dazza scored with a free kick while the keeper was still sorting out the wall?

Remember the melee it was fantastic
