Funny the things that pop into your head half completed.

I woke thinking about the long wall down the side of Wombwell Park. Many many years ago someone painted "OWLS" on the wall just up from the gates.
Not for long as it was changed to a name that stayed there for years. Can I remember the name, can I buggery,
it was something sounding Polish maybe .
I though Rowlsky but it was longer than that . Age is a **** sometimes.

 

Less topical but I often find myself thinking about the guy that painted KEV TRENT D’ARBY in massive letters on a wall on Racecommon Road in the mid-eighties.

Unless it was Terence’s brother, it was a remarkable statement about a relatively uncool artist. I hope he changed his name by deed poll.
