All this about staying in better hotels, better Bus, also painting the changing rooms and such....but asking players to take a pay cut..seems a funny way of doing things to me...if I was a player, id sooner have the bit extra in wi wages..

I can see the logic in paying Mo, and the new CEO..money well spent out of the Budget...but the rest it seems, well, just a bit of a sheen really..

Does thinking this make me against Flicker and the club..?

Flicker stated that these things are important to the players.

I disagree but I don't think you're against the club.

I compare it to working for a higher wage at a company that treats you like ****. You feel good when you think about your basic wake being high, but know deep down that you aren't totally happy. I work somewhere that pays what I expect but also looks after me and treats staff with the respect they deserve. Even if I was offered more money to leave, that intangible stuff is worth a lot more than an extra couple off grand.

I think it's all about improving the whole package. Poor travel conditions or poor accommodation can have a negative impact on players' preparation. I do think working on the little things can make a difference

I think better work place surroundings does have an affect. Recently company I work moved offices to improve things and this has defiantly had an affect on morale and work load going up considerably.
