BARNSLEY FOOTBALL CLUB STATEMENT RE: LEICESTER CITY TICKETS

IN order to clarify the situation regarding next weekend's game at Leicester City, Barnsley Football Club can confirm that Leicester City did not impose a maximum number of 1000 tickets on us.

This was the amount which Barnsley Football Club requested after consultation within the Club about our estimated requirements.

Barnsley Football Club can and will request more tickets if the demand exists. At no time have Leicester City FC stated that this amount was imposed because of police costs.

At the time of writing Barnsley Football Club can confirm that the Oakwell Box Office has sold 193 tickets for this game.

Should there be any protesting, peaceful or otherwise, at the Walkers Stadium next Saturday, Barnsley Football Club strongly disassociates itself completely from those persons and actions.

looks to be working then, 193 not many at all. I think thats a good idea actually because having more expensive prices for away fans is bad but I can't see many travelling just to protest.
