It's on https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/boxing/breaking-tyson-fury-dillian-whyte-26076700 That will be a cracking fight that could go either way, but I wouldn't be backing a points decision whoever wins. Got to annoy Eddie that it's not going to be on his Dazn channel either in the UK or USA.
Comfortable win for Fury in my opinion. I’m a fan of Whyte, a proper throw back fighter. But he’s faced challenges against Chisora, Povetkin and Parker in recent years. Tyson is streets ahead of those challenges. Maybe the 80% pay day will breed complacency for Tyson? Who knows, but on skill set alone. Tyson wins the fight every time.
What, Fury in the first six or Fury in the second six? It won’t be remotely close unless Fury is too complacent.
41 million dollars for a fight with Dillan White in it he he the pay per view price will be interesting for sure Bit surprised DAZN were outbid by Warren BT sport. But seen as though the deal with DAZN to buy BT sport is expected to close this month for around 800 million dollars( 580 million pounds) guess they are saving there money.
Dillian Whyte is essentially a modern day Chisora, who’s a bit more sprightly on his feet and has more punch power. I have a feeling Tyson will be complacent for this one, but even still he should box Whyte’s ears off for 12 rounds. Don’t expect this to be too exciting but at least Whyte will attempt to engage and walk through the jab, jab, jab.
It couldn't go either way. On one side we have one of the best heavyweight boxers of all time and on the other someone who is alright. It's a mismatch.
Fury should win. However, I just get a tiny inkling it may turn out to be similar to Joshua - Ruiz 1 with all the hype. Although, only way I see that happening is complacency by Fury as suggested above. Might be worth losing a tenner on...
That’s dead now. They had their window to unite all the organisations, and if you believe the rumours it was Fury who scuppered it all. We’ll never know the truth behind that one but let’s hope all roads lead to Undisputed in September/October whoever is fighting.
There's a reason Tyson Fury is the king. You don't know what kind of performance he's going to put in. Does he fight from range and just embarrass you on points? Does he make it ugly and lean on you, lots of inside work, grind you down? Does he go full Kronk and blast you out? Or a bit of everything? That's why he's the best. He has numerous ways to fight an opponent. Whereas the others don't really. They're predictable. Not only that, the bloke was nearly beheaded by Wilder in their first bout and I'm still not sure how he got up. And in their third fight, that punch that drops him the first time is one of the worst I've ever seen and yet by the next round he's back at it like it never happened. He's mental. Even when he had an horrendous early double cut against Wallin, he still easily won. But, it's boxing. Heavyweight boxing. You never know. Ask Andy Ruiz or James Douglas. Things can happen. It's a great fight for boxing fans, and as a Fury fan, I'm happy it's going ahead because outside of Wilder who he's seen off emphatically already, and obviously Usyk/AJ, I'm not sure there's anyone better. His detractors say his resumé is weak, so it'll be another decent W on the record, before he fights Usyk for all the belts.
Great post. And as someone who's had issues with mental health, it can be incredibly hard to overcome. And so for him to return in the way he has makes it even more incredible!
