    I could have done this via PM but I feel this needs an airing for all to have their point of view - please note I have said ALL TO HAVE THEIR POINT OF VIEW!!!!

    I have just been looking through the "Questions for Don" thread and I have got to take umbrage at your attitude towards thereev. This is not an elitist board for everybody to toe a party line and it attracts all sorts of posters. I understand that you have the unenviable task of moderating this board and I am certain it is not an easy job. You will always receive my thanks for providing a board that is really second to none.

    BUT back to your issues with thereev - I know nothing about him but I am guessing that he comes on here, just like myself, to catch up on what is happening and enjoy a bit of downtime. His posts are harmless but you (and some others) seem to take them as personal attacks - I find thereev to be a tonic and laugh at the results of his postings. This is in much the same way as BigLil who is another one who does not take himself too seriously.

    Thereev does not deserve being threatened with banning etc as, to date, he has not used foul language or put offensive material on the board. I keenly await your reply!

    Jack, you should know better because you know how bad it got on Tykesmad when we were both hounded for trying to make things a bit more lighthearted. Some people take things far too seriously.

    It used to be Ok on there when you could argue with other fans but the mods started a getting a bit trigger happy with the bans.

    Please explain to me how joke comments like this are any different to what thereev does? By the way, Gally, you have expanded my knowledge base as I have just read the Wikipedia page on the word "troll" - thank you!

    thereev is ok when posting his own threads, people have a choice if they want to click and read or not.

    incredibly annoying when he hijacks every thread with mindless spam

    funny at first but now boring
