I didn't know you had a girlfriend. You really should stop cheating on her, it's nothing to boast about ;)

    Match 2 for me. #notaproperfan

Fun fact: this will be the first match this season that both HT and I will have attended.

Not been to a Barnsley game since December 2015... and I've been to more Korean league games than I have Barnsley games in the last five years.

Seen Brazil play away as much as I've seen Barnsley play away in the last three years, and I've seen the Haiti national team score more goals than Barnsley in the last four years. I've also seen Incheon in more Cup Finals than I have Barnsley.

And best of all, I run on the pitch at Sungui when Incheon avoid relegation with a last minute, final game winner, but I condemn Barnsley fans for going on the pitch at Oakwell.

It's all numbers and statistics, and really it means nothing. Enjoy going to games while you can, especially while it's so good, because you don't know what circumstances are around the corner!

Bit of a strange post really.

Are you suggesting some people are only going because the reds are doing well, or that the end of the world is nigh?

Aye, was a bit strange. I think my message was lost in the nonsense.

Essentially, right now I'd kill to be able to go. I've sat through losing at Northampton and Grimsby away with a team of hoofers, been to Portsmouth away and got rained on, and Luton away where you can't see much, but I miss out on Wembley (twice) and us actually playing well. I've started going to Korean games just to kill the void, despite it being rubbish!

Just a bit envious and I guess I'm just saying that some people can't get to games, despite their best intentions. Work, money and whatnot. It doesn't make them any less of a fan.

Yeah I've done all those games as well. I missed the play off final because we broke down en-route.

I was well cheesed off and that's partly why I'm going to every game this season. It'll be a first for me to do the every single game. Was one game off for two consecutive seasons in the 80s.

Problem is, I'll probably want to do it all again next season now.

I'm lucky really, I'm self employed and can take the time off and go, but it does cost me in lost earnings.
