well despite what everyone says about getting behind the lads

which i do everytime i am down at the well. i pay for entertainment and at the minute im just not getting anything like it. Saturday was horrible, didnt enjoy it at all, so cant motivate myself to part with the cash tonight. Having said all that i really hope they go out and put on a great show and win well, but im just not up for it tonight.

If they do win tonight though does that mean all the new signings will be on the bench at luton?

for my 1000th post I will let out a secret

I have 2 seats I can use, one in the Exec. and my East Stand season ticket as does my Grandson. The lad who,s picture graces my posts. Well when we went to Huddersfield in the playoffs the lad had never experienced that kind of atmosphere before and was hooked on sitting outside, so being a Grandad who thankfully could afford it he was spoilt and thats what we do every Sat without fail . But I am sorry to report that the atmoshere is getting like a graveyard and the game is so boring its like watching paint dry. We will not be there tonight although we wish the lads every succes. And for those that do go, CAN YOU DO YOUR BEST AND SING UP A BIT>>>>>>>>>>>>>

    That's a beauty that ... "we aren't going .........

..... cos the atmosphere is crap and the football is boring .... but if you are going .... can you sing up a bit!" ....

the atmosphere is hardly likely to improve with 4,000 in the ground as opposed to 10,000 is it and to be fair mate, you have a bloody cheek telling those of us that are going to get behind the team when you can't be arsed to even turn up!

The fact is, we all know we are ***** at the moment, and we all know that tonight's crowd will be abysmal but staying away doesn't help the team/club in any way.

I'll be there, that's what being a Barnsley fan is all about, wet Tuesday nights with 4-5,000 die hards for company, cos in truth, over the last 40 years I've experienced far more of that than owt else!

No I have'nt got sky, and wont be lisnin to them on Radio dee dah either. Will probably be regretting NOT going but there you are, more fool me eh!.. Trouble is there would appear to be a few more like me who (as you say after 40 + yrs) are getting a bit fed up of the mess. See what bugs me is that there is nothing we can do about it, other than stay away.
