    It's daft, Man Utd are hopeful they can get Fabrigas for about £35m and he's a much better player. They should take the money and buy him, different position I know but all it will do is shift the focus of the creativity to another area of the pitch. They'll then have a better side and £50m left for other improvements.

    Not that I'd ever see Spurs as real contenders at the top of the Premier League though, their transfer policy under various managers over the years has been strange - paying over the odds for average players year after year.

    Thing is if he goes for 85m then every club in the world knows spurs have this money. Every playet they enquire about the price will rocket.

    Something I wish some of our fans would understand when we state undisclosed.

    It wasn't just at Oakwell. I remember Disco making him look a mug at St Mary's too. Remember thinking at the time "I thought this guy was the golden boy?". In fairness, he has shown what a great talent he is since.

    Best player in Premiership at the moment for me. A phenomenal talent. Love to watch him play. Doesn't mean he's worth £85 million like, no one is, it's barmy money, but he's a superb footballer.
