    Sky sports pundits waxing lyrical about Bale as a young talent back in the day, no doubt the fella has matured into a top class footballer, but I remember a day at Oakwell that he and others won't mention, when Devaney ran the lad ragged for 45 minutes, indeed, Bale didn't show for the second half, ibet his memory of that day is subject to a very selective process.
    Just another thought on that game, is it the same match where Vito Mannone let a tame shot through his hands?

    Colgan was in goal for that Southampton game, I remember there being a controversial penalty and Disco being brilliant but not a lot else. I remember Mannone having a mare against Luton but I can't remember if it was the same season.
