    Am I missing something here? £10 million for a left back who can't defend?

    Couldn't tackle a Sunday dinner. Cannot understand why they don't convert him to left hand side of midfield.

    Missed the game but didn't Disco have him 'on toast'.

    A couple of free kicks and suddenly you've got a wonder kid on your hands.

    Bale = 10 million. Barnard = 750k

    Unless it's £1million up front and another 9 million if he becomes world player of the year 20 times and master of the universe.

    Not in my book

    nor in any of the Scunny fans I've spoken to at work, they think its good business, although 25% goes back to Leeds. They are a bit deluded though, cos they're expecting big things from Ramon Calliste and Drew Talbot. I've had a bet they miss out on promotion.

    int Talbot just on loan?

    Surprised when Leeds let Keogh and Morris go.

    Wait till Full Ponty reads that. He's an expert on running styles and how they indicate chronic back injury. Either that or he can't keep his eyes off Nardy's arse.

    Talbot on loan

    and Calliste just back from injury. Sharp is only 12 months into 3 yr deal and has told Scun board he's happy to stay this season at least. Think Keogh was going to walk in the summer FOC, £850k now seems good business to me. League 1 still has some decent laikers available....

    Buying lower league players?

    wont make some happy. but I think there are players in League 1 that are more than capable of the step up, the problem being every League 1 Chairman will be thinking if Keoghs worth £850k, whats "x" worth?

    also, if we're looking at players that are playing in teams on a winning streak, and thus near the top of the table, they are unlikely to come cheap at this stage in the season.
