i'd say over the next few years man city will be a stronger outfit than Liverpool. IMO obviously. Also can't knock the lad for taking the bucks. I know i'd make the same choice given the chance.
When Barry wanted to leave Villa last season it was only because he wanted to play in the Champions League. He has now moved to a club that hasn't qualified for the Champions League. I've no problem with someone moving purely for the money, but they could at least be honest about it.
There are suggestions about that he turned down Liverpool cos Rafa wanted him to play left midfield and even left back at times and he didn't fancy it.
I agree. I have no problem with him going to Man City for the money, but just be honest and say that it was the best offer financially rather than other weak excuses like "potential". And please don't start kissing the badge on the shirt!
Villa fan on Radio 5.... ... says the reason they kiss the badge is to remind them which team they are playing for that week! Well it made me chuckle
