    Money grabbing little ****...

    So hes leaving a team in Europe for a team who aren't in Europe, have no structure and just throw there money around here, there and everywhere. Don't get me wrong i've nothing against City yet didn't Barry say he wanted to join Liverpool last year so he could play Champions League football?

    Well hes taking a step back now because know-one will touch the top 4 for a long time no matter how much money is involved and Everton and Villa will have the 5th and 6th spots tied up for a long time.

    Looks like challenging with Tottenham, Fulham and West Ham for the 7th spot from now on, oh how the City owners will love that....

    So Villa say to him "ok Gareth you've been at Villa for the past 10 years but we can only afford to pay you 60k a week but we have Europa League football as well"

    City say "Ok we cant offer you Europa League football but we can pay you 90k a week"

    At the end of the day money talks and football is a money orientated business

    They play rotherham on that day as well so i would expect a split squad that comes to oakwell. Would think that barnsley should/would ge the better team tho.

    good stuff. I went to watch city play at oakwell last year and they played a few good players. Petrov was very fast and faster than i thought when i watch him on motd
