Decent enough feller, and a fair defender in his time. But isn't he just the sort of typical FA establishment man that keeps failing as England manager? Would he have any new ideas to turn around our miserable national team?

Not good enough for what we want and is a 'yes' man, just like Woy.

Not a lot of good names being banded about for the role which is a worry. I think a lot of people are torn up about getting an English manager when in fact foreign managers can be just as effective if the right man is appointed.

Only one candidate and that's David Beckham ,run his blood to watter for England every time he played and with a good team around him eg a defensive coach etc would be a great appointment imo
