Waste of space. He was in a position where he was much more fortunate than others but decided to be a Pillock. No sympathy for the guy.
I don't understand how this happens. What are the people around him doing? How can his wife not know? First thing for me would be to own your home outright. You can then rent if you get sent on loan / move clubs but you should have that home owned outright in your home town or where you live. After that buy a few properties & rent them out. If it all goes tits up you've got the rental income or you can sell the homes to get by. You can have a comfortable lifestyle from a couple of grand a month in rent when you've not got a mortgage to pay. But no I've not got no sympathy for him either.
