Played a few games under PHart. Big lumbering useless lump. I have a feeling he scored a couple at the end of the 03/04 season.

Played in those months when PHart took over and we signed Shuker and David Murphy. Seem to remember he played a blinder v Plymouth when they were top of the league and we drew 3-3. Or could've been QPR with Paul Furlong. Murphy scored a beauty of a free kick. Then he signed Tom Williams instead.

Murphy was a great player. Birch played for Chasetown a couple of years later which was about his level.
