    Pleased with that. Will add some experience. Big lad as well, which will help at set plays.

    Him, Williams, McGeehan, Potts, Moncur (plus Mallan hopefully in time) is great completion for the 3 places. Gives us options to rest/rotate

    Mowatt needed to go out. Maybe he'll do a Moncur & make a comeback. He's looked like a shadow of the Mowatt of Christmas Past up to now.
    Would have rather had Randy Baumgardiner, as I like his hats. I'm sure Gary is really good though & I welcome his arrival.

    That could easily have something to do with the fact that when he came back from injury, Villa had a terrible side which had been on a slow but definite downward trajectory for a while. Not easy to come back from such a serious injury into a side lacking in confidence and cohesion.
