Hi My name is Mick Glymond I have registered to day to try to reply to the kind messages recently posted for Gary Glymond who was tragically killed in the early hours of Saturday morning. I am Gary’s uncle and on behalf of his dad Martin and mother Sue and the rest of the families I would like to thank your contributors for their kind words which are of great comfort at this difficult time. It was Gary’s 18th birthday on Saturday and his parents and family take great comfort in the knowledge that it was the happiest day of his life with the super reds making it a perfect day. Gary placed his first bet at the bookies that morning £2 on the reds to win, unfortunately he did not get chance to cash the bet. After the match like everyone else he was so excited about seeing his beloved reds play at the new Wembley. One of the posts referred to photographs been taken immediately after the Chelsea game. I am a season ticket holder at Oakwell seat number W121 in the ponty end, adjacent to the first gangway on the west stand side and I will be at the match tonight, if anyone has got a photograph of Gary taken on Saturday I would be grateful if they could see me there and blue tooth me a copy. Once again thanks to all you reds fans. Mick Glymond mglymond@qualterhall.co.uk mglymond@tiscali.co.uk 07767885894
