A bit of a rumour on the 606 site about Hooper. If Scunny are still after Kayo maybe some kind of deal could be struck.
presumably the backup plan if Mifsud transfer falls through - do you know if we are close to signing Miffy?
Well young Patterson has certainly proved to be a good buy for Burnley........ He came from Scunny, and Hooper was his replacement.
RE: Well young Patterson has certainly proved to be a good buy for Burnley........ Yeah, I'm just making the point that McCann and Hayes both had a chance at this level and in my eyes, weren't up to it
Hooper may well be, I can't say I know anything about him in all honesty

RE: Well young Patterson has certainly proved to be a good buy for Burnley........ Andy Keogh aint bad at Wolves either.
The same Togwell who.. whilst was as hard a working player as I've seen of late, couldn't pass a ball to save his life?
RE: The Gary Hooper who gets most of his goals set up by Who could soon be assisting the future 15-20 goals a season man,Kayode Odejayi
RE: The Gary Hooper who gets most of his goals set up by Don't even think a midfield of Ronaldo, Gerrard, Xavi and Essien could help with that!
Hayes & McCann weren't that bad in Championship. As I remember......... In the Championship Hayes started 25 games and scored 5goals........ not prolific by any means, but as I remember he started well (under Ritchie's regime) scored all of his goals in first few matches. Then when simple simon took over he was played out wide on the left wing, and eventually fell out of favour with management and was sold back to Scunny. He was certainly better than what we have now (i.e. Rigters, Odejayi and even Macken). As for McCann did he really ever have a chance. By that I mean, he was too similar to Howard and so was always played out of position (wide left) or cancelled out playing along side Howard. Took a great free kick! So for me the jury is out for me as to whether he would have shone in the Championship. I wouldn't mind seeing either of them back here. Tottenham certainly aren't afraid to bring back old faces.
RE: Hayes & McCann weren't that bad in Championship. As I remember......... Well, for it's worth I liked Hayes, but I was never sure he was what we needed.
How did he do at Scunny when we went back?
McCann, for me, was good at the simple things, good neat, short passes, but always seemed so cautious, didn't offer much going forward, no pace, and couldn't tackle. Give me Colace, Anderson and even Hassell over him anyday
