What an absolute joke!

    Manager of a Premiership Club?

The Bolton fans do not want him.

The Spurs fans do for reasons we do not know (It's a Board thing probably!)

The way that the Spurs Board have treated Jol is nothing short of disgraceful.

I hope he goes on to prove the Spurs' Board wholly wrong.

He didn't resign, his hand was forced and anyone who follows football knows that.

Results were poor. They had high hopes for this season

Think that Jol was a class manager and given time he would have sorted out the problems.

seems that the Premiership Prima Donnas have won their fight - Berbatov and Defoe!

Full Ponty is correct in some ways, Football really is ****!

We break up from school tomorrow after 8 weeks hard slog and getting the new classes adjusted.

One whole glorious week 7 books - one a day refreshed and revitalised for the run in for Christmas.
    YooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooReds Happy Happy!

    Totally agree...

Leicester City gave Megson a chance when no one would touch him with a barge pole...

Nice to see loyalty is alive and well...

Zero charisma, never a Premiership Manager....I'll give him 3 months

Owly said that they woudln't even give him an interview at Sheff Wed even though that was the one job he was hanging out for.
Apparently, so Owly tells me, his dad Don Megson who was a massive player for them in the 60s, went to Wembley etc, is on the Board and Gary is at every home game when he can attend.
He wanted the Weds Job but Allen will not allow him in.
    Owly would have him tomorrow.
He hates Allen beyond all comprehension, as do most of Owlies (Yuck, spit!)
Who cares what they do anyway?. I listen in patience abart them as when it's my turn to spout abart our beloved Reds , he listens then
I don't give a toss abart them, but you have to wonder why Bolton poach him, urge him to sign for them when he has been out of work, and interviewed for every job going and no one is/was interested.

    Shhhhhh!

Shhhh don't go saying that Tina, the anti teachers brigade will have yer for it. I take it these 7 books are school reading materials?! Have a good week off.
We've booked a weekend away - and one of the kids has just fallen ill. So at best I'm gonna be stuck in a lodge on my own with a sick child, or at worst, I've got another weekend at home with a sick child whilst hubby & eldest have a whale of a time in the Peaks! :-|

way out on Defoe. Worked himself into the ground for a chance and never rubbisdhed the club while he out the side, never asked for a transfer.

Forest were abysmal with him in charge

I was surprised when Leicester appointed him, but a Premiership club :)S)

    Understandable move by Bolton

I suspect the board at Bolton realise the high probability of relegation and have gone for Megson cos of his track record of bouncing a club straight back. I expect Bolton to cash in their chips in January, Anelka, Jaskaleinen and a few others will be sold and Megson's brief will be to prepare a side ready to come straight back up.
