    How many trophies did he win at club level & how did he con. all them managers that he had some ability.

    After watching this ...the guy went up in my estimation.....i for one think he knows what hes talking about when it comes to football and comes across has genuine...both on and off the field of play ....down to earth bloke too

    Come off it! One of best full backs in premier league era, won everything at domestic level, loads of caps for England where he was very consistent. Great player.

    Pundit? Think vast majority of people thought he was class.

    Manager? Yeah quite possibly crap, but could turn it round yet....look at LJ!

    But even he does flop as a manager you can't be serious about him being a crap player and pundit
