Couldn't get in this pub before Birmingham and Derby matches
If the landlord, who by the way is a Wendy fan, wants the pub to be for away supporters at the expense of the home support, then so be it.
OK, he makes money when a well supported team comes to town, but if home fans can't get in because of this then the home support needs to find other places to go.
If he kept it for home supporters only then he would have regular steady trade throughout the season.

So I for one will not be supporting this landlord again. (N) (N) (N)

Brammers in future - you've still got the real ale here - plus its cheaper and theres more choice.
Although the bar service in Brammers is /poo

    Went in for Palace

against my better judgement having turned away and been told it was too full for the brum game.

Went to Brammah's instead where I would go every time if the service was not so crap.

How on earth do they find staff with so little rush in them I shall never know (N)

    We were in on Saturday

and the landlord was acting like a right tw@t, i've always found him alright but he was getting up everyones nose even the bar staff. Wouldn't mind but the beer is a fortune, i at least expect a bit of customer service and not someone acting like a pill0ck.

    Yeah

felt like knocking him out the way he spoke to me and his bar staff, the sign of a bad landlord. I only stood waiting to be served in the bit where they occasionally put the glasses, didn't see no signs saying not to stand there, and just because one of the lasses served me she got some **** too. And after the match i was enjoying a post match cig waiting for my brother to get served right on the border between the smoking and non smoking area and he started again, told him to shut up.
