Jesus Christ want a load of *****, even asked the missus to put Cora on so we could watch the legend Gail go
Not a massive fan of it, but watched a lot of it over the years, it's harmless bit of fun. Probably a 7/10 for me. I do agree though seeing Corden in tv shows these days sends shivers down my spine. Can't stand the bloke.
Mrs been banging on abart it all week told her I'm ******* off upstairs if she puts it on as I'm likely to stick my booit through the telly when that lovely person Corden comes on .....bag 'o' ***** I'm telling thi..........sithi.
What is people's problem with James Corden? Seriously. I keep seeing him being slated, but no-one ever explains why. Is it because he became successful?
https://screenrant.com/james-corden-movie-show-appearances-hated-annoying-reason/ A number of things over the years have annoyed people. My favourite was the rumour he's never denied. Apparently he was on a plane and a baby was crying with a woman beside him and he put on a headset to cancel out the noise rather than make a fuss (positive). But when the plane landed and the woman was struggling with the baby she shouted at him are you going to help me with our kid. As for the show there have been plenty of comedies better and worse.
Why would it annoy people if he's successful? Wouldn't that mean they hate anyone with success? He's arrogant, obnoxious, so incredibly unfunny and if you read about his interactions with people in real life, it shows his true character - some of which he's even admitted himself. Horrible bloke Just my opinion ofcourse
I think what sort of people they are in real life is irrelevant. Most great actors and actresses through the ages have turned out to have their dark sides but that doesn’t stop me from enjoying their performances, or not in some cases. The whole cast of Gavin and Stacey have been brilliant from the beginning and I’ve watched every episode several times over the years. It was a great final episode but obviously, if you’re not a fan, you won’t have watched it. Comedy isn’t universally liked is it. I could never see the attraction of Friends for example while Frasier was the best American comedy ever (until the unfunny reboot).
The ex wife used to like it, and I just thought wtf!!. Its not funny, and it's not clever, and its far too Welsh lol. However... its surely still better than Corrie taarn or Emmerdingle street.
It does seem quite popular to dislike James Corden despite not really knowing him. Is he a bit of a selfish ****? Possibly. Many celebrity ‘talents’ are you’d imagine. He’s been massively successful, had a great career in the USA not just as the chat show host but also being in movies - as a fat English fella in his early forties it’d be easy for me to be jealous - but I’m pleased he’s had success. Building from being the fat kid in fat friends to being a household name both sides of the Atlantic - fair play to him. I think Gavin and Stacey was a beautifully crafted and written show. And is Ruth Jones’ show as much as his. Tonight’s ending was good, if maybe a tad predictable. Giving the people what they want isn’t likely a bad idea though. Will I watch whatever he does next? Maybe. He’s meant to be involved in the new smurfs movie and I assume my youngest will want to see that. I doubt he’ll write anything better than Gavin and Stacey though.
