    Hi everyone

    The new season marks the start of the prestigious BBS player of the season competition.

    Conor has bucked the trend of the winners always buggering off to greener (greedier) pastures and returned.

    A refresh of the rules.

    Weekly votes.
    1st - 5 points
    2nd - 3 points
    3rd - 1 point.

    Weekly bonus points:

    5 points for any player scoring a hatrick
    2 bonus points for any player scoring twice
    1 point for a goal
    5 points for a penalty save
    2 points for a clean sheet - goalkeeper
    1 point for a clean sheet - defenders (starters only)
    1 for an assist

    you can choose any player who plays any minutes

    ongoing bonus points

    10 points for every 10 clean sheets - goalkeeper
    10 points for anyone scoring more than 20
    10 points for 15 or more assists


    End of Season

    10 points - top scorer
    10 points - most assists
    10 points for defender appearing in most clean sheets

    Random Bonus rounds - End of Season

    Most Amusing running Style 5 points
    Best hair cut - 5 bonus points.

    For the first couple of games I will make the weekly poll a sticky. Let me know if you want to keep it there or move it back to the general threads.

    Any player who sports either a stand-alone moustache or a stand-alone beard (soul patch counts), or John McCririck style sideburns gets one point per match whenever the said facial hair is on show. However, Josh Scowen style bumfluff gets minus points.
