I'm not sure why you think that this news is an indication that we will take less than 20,000. On the face of it, what it means is that they have had the majority of season tickets holders through the door faster than they thought they would. That is good. So they don't want to waste a day on Sunday allowing only season tickets holders, when there are none left to come. That's all it means though.
How do you work that out Presumably the club knows how many ST holders have handed in their vouchers. If we sold nearly 10000 tickers yesterday thats a minimum of 2500 ST holders and thats if they all bought their full allocation of tickets ie almost half the ST holders went (or at least sent their books) on day 1 Allowing for say 1000 today and tomorrow each and there wont be many ST holders left by Sunday - so opening up for general sale early might well mean we have sold tickets faster than expected.
RE: How do you work that out my guess is that despite the PR spin we haven't sold as many as we'd hoped by now-cue general sale earlier than expected to try to shift as many as possible
My guess is that all the people queueing were just turning up to score off the oakwell dealer.
Tickets was just a elaborate ruse.
We have only sold 79.
FFS

RE: You can't say that Dont you mean the glory supporters?
If it were up to a certain few the shutters would come down tonight
