    It's always the same in this cup

    We never seem to get a run in the league cup, doesn't bother me. Usual business resumed on saturday hopefully. We've lost to a lot of poor teams in the last 10 or so years, and it hasn't really reflected on our season as a whole (except 01/02).

    2011- Lost to Morecambe round 1
    2010- Lost to Rochdale round 1
    2009- Lost to Man Utd round 3
    2008- Lost to Crewe round 1
    2007- Lost to Newcastle round 2
    2006- Lost to MK Dons round 2
    2005- Lost to Burnley round 2
    2004- Lost to Man City round 2
    2003- Lost to Blackpool round 1
    2002- Lost to Macclesfield round 1 (I think)
    2001- Lost to Newcastle round 3
    2000- Lost to Stoke round 3

    Got to agree. While a cup run is always nice, in the grand scheme of things I'm really not arsed about tonights result. Saturday is far more important.
