Bit disappointing...they might as well have said "we know we promised you something by Wednesday, but we've got nowt to say"
Re: errm notice they used the present badge there ...hmmmmmmmmm?? i'm with ben. he said 'no further comment until wednesday'. never mentioned new manager announcements. he promised a statement and delivered. top work ben
aye but be reyt , thar a lass... and generally speakin lasses are nivver reyt bright.... nar come on tha's gotta admit that. excuse me now while I hide in my cellar...
Can't believe folk are crying again over trivial stuff like this. They promised a statement but they obviously don't have much to say so they've just put that out to please you lot. I'd much rather Mansford spend his time looking for suitable candidates rather than spending his time dictating statements.
So it doesn't look unprofessional and make them look really very incompetent that they stated a date and when the time came they realised they didn't know what the hell to say? If Don had put a statement out like that people would be going mental. Very poor all round. There was no need to state a date for further info.
Who cares? It's one post on the website, it's not going to make a jot of difference to our season. They probably shouldn't have said they'd update us on Wednesday, but they did so they had to write something. I'm not going to lose any sleep of it.
