Bobby Horn Darren Barnard Mick McCarthy Arjan DeZeeuw Gerry Taggart Phil Chambers Ray McHale Ronnie Glavin Neil Redfearn Ashley Ward Craig Hignett Subs: Dave Watson Johnny Hendrie Ian Banks Jan Aage Fjortoft Carl Tyler Stewart Barrowclough (didn't it bring a smile to your face just thinking about them though? ) COME ON YOOOOOU REEEDS!!!
You forgot Ian Evans, Clive Baker and Eric Winstanley Also I see you have selected 2 left footed wing backs. Presumably that is a plan to make the team even worse.
I wanted Joe Joyce as well... lol... but wasn't he a left footer? I knew someone would point out that both my full backs were left footed. They'd still walk this bloody league though.
I've already got three centre-halves though!! lol Paul Futcher was a real hero mind you. I feel bad now for leaving him out.
Owen Archdeacon.... Surely worth a place.... Always remember him as a class act from when I was a young'un
RE: Owen Archdeacon.... Surely worth a place.... I nearly mentioned Blackadder too but not sure he'd be make the team unfortunately.
It does open an interesting sub topic though Those quality highly regarded players, who didn't quite make the first team. Hassell being another example. How about a midfield of: Owen Archdeacon Darren Sherridan Steve Agnew Martin Bullock And up front: David Currie Neil Shipperley Does somebody want to put the defence and goalkeeper behind this?
McHale... Nice to see him in there. Never felt he got the credit he deserved in keeping the team ticking.Often the case with defensive midfielders though. Excellent squash player too - megafit
I remember that poxy goal he scored A tap in from 30 yards in the last minute against Leicester. I could have scored it by wafting my little toe on my wrong foot in the vicinity of the ball while wearing a blindfold with my bootlaces tied together. Aye, Archie was so **** I named my dog after him.
RE: It does open an interesting sub topic though Brian Joicey up front he did know where the net was.
