I am not a season ticket holder this season (due to money problems at the start of the season) but have been for some years. I missed newcastle away and missed liverpool and i am worried i wont get a ticket for the chelsea game. Have i worked this out right or wrong? When the tickets go on general sale there should be about 3,000 left? Just been looking on the official website and at the bootom it says ANY REMAINING TICKETS will go on general sale?

    Dont be

You will be ok. Surely you know a ST holder who can get you one. Just ask on here, Im sure someone will help you out. This is an occasion when no one who visits oakwell even on a semi regular basis should miss out.

Thats the problem none of my mates go anymore and i have unfortunatly been branded as a part-timer, I would actually feel embarassed to ask a season ticket holder.

CHAIRMAN Jeremy Peace has paid tribute to Albion's terrific away following as at least 3,500 supporters prepare to make the trip to Barnsley on Saturday (ko 3pm).

The club is making its annual gesture to fans for their loyal support by laying on 40 FREE supporters' coaches for the vital Oakwell clash.

that means for a top Championship team visiting we only got 9500 home supporters -and we have just under 7000 ST holders

Dont be daft mate. Put a message on here asking if anyone can help you out. Youll be surprised.

Anyway half of the buggers think its too expensive, an extra few quid, so I take it they wont be taking all the seats up. :D

If we have 6000 ST holders

who can have two each, and 1500 Centenary members who have one each, we can only sell a maximum of 13500 before general sale. And not everyone will take their full allocation.

I think there'll be plenty for all who want them.

    RE: Dont be

Dont be worried, now its on the box I'd be very surprised if it was anywere near a sell out, I reckon there will be no more than 14000 tickets sold to Barnsley '' fans ''. Hope I'm wrong and its packed but being a wisened old cinic who's been going to the well since the mid 50's and seen the apathy of Barnsley people towards BFC over that period I don't think so.

I wouldn't worry mate. Not every season ticket holder will be getting 2 tickets.

Me, my 2 sons and my Dad are all season ticket holders and we'll just be getting our tickets. Therefore, we're not takling up 4 tickets that we could have had. I assume many others will do the same. Then there are those who are complaining about paying an extra couple of quid who won't go ether (I bet !).

I reckon there'll be plenty to go round.
