    Great signing for Blackpool that. Still think they might have a say in the play off race.
    He'd have been an ideal long term replacement for Kane, assuming he's leaving in the summer.

    I can't see us being able to afford his wages for a permanent deal to be honest. It does seem like Wednesday are keen to get him off theirs permanently, so I can't see him coming here.

    Not sure how likely this would be but if it did happen would be fantastic business.

    Get him and Earl and we've got two proven performers at this level that really elevate the squad for the here and now. Rather than players who may turn out to be good in a few seasons time.

    Blackpool on verge of signing a different CM from Southampton.

    Wonder if that's them giving up on the Byers deal.

    Kane will most likely leave in the summer imo, especially if we don't go up.

    If Byers is available now and the club can sort out a deal it would be ideal for squad rotation this season and then a proper, quality replacement should Kane leave in the summer.
