How did he perform in his cameo?

Came on when they were 2-0 up, a difficult time. Didn't get involved to any great extent. Too little time to make any worthwhile judgement.

I thought CH was a bit below par today, not his usual performance, unlike Scowen and Williams who were very busy.

He didn;t get to long to do owt but He made a couple of decent tackles and made a couple of passes. Easier to notice him watching on tv when commentators saying his name than if your at the game :)

He tried to get involved in the few minutes he had.

Lost the ball once or twice and instantly tried to win it back.

Think we need to get behind him and encourage him to do well.

I thought he looked half decent. Put in a couple of great tackles and tried to get us forward in possession.

He has huge potential for me, but he needs to show patience. However I hope our supporters get behind him, he's obviously a player who needs confidence, I'd be starting him against Blackpool as we prepare for the inevitable (CH leaving)

Think that is telling. Conor H was not by any means a solid CM when he joined. Bit lightweight, scared to put a foot in, and game passed him by.

I sincerely hope Hecky has sat Moncur down (and his dad), and they've all agreed that with the talent Moncur clearly has, a good dose of hard work, and quality coaching then he can be even better than the Conor Hourihane we see today.

    I'm hopeful.

He certainly didn't become a bad player overnight. I'm not letting an unproductive loan to Peterborough, change my opinion of that. He got 12 goals in a poor Colchester team last season in league 1.

I find the rumors surrounding his attitude difficult to believe. When we signed him, he came with this reputation of being dedicated, hardworking and religious. And I get the impression far more was made of his departure than what was actually true.

I base it on Hecky's words at the time. Wasn't first choice, got lip on and ran away.

Still he's back now and we are likely to need him soon...

Huge potential, if he plays up to his standards. Lets hope the forgiving folk of Barnsley give him a chance......
