    i'm shocked about george williams. just let an absolute star leave the club. must be more to it, but i can't imagine what. a top player and a top bloke. massivley disappointed

    No surprises with Smith he was very poor.

    Williams never put a foot wrong which leads me to believe it's more than just a footballing decision.

    They key will be in 10 years time.

    How many games would have George Williams played at championship level?? I thought he'd be ok there, the coaching staff maybe think differently and it's their judgement we've got to trust

    i think pace would have been his issue in the champ. Perhaps he was also wanting too much from the new contract.

    Shame as he was key to us getting up.

    Perhaps a better full back is on the radar and looking like a real possibility. Club looking to use wages on them rather than two unknowns at Champ level?
