In the photos today from the hospital visit by the first team. Thought he was out on loan?

 

Scratch that. Back end of Danny's Player interview he gets really irate about Bradford PA and them not selecting George, as he'd expected them to do.

 

So he's not in the photo? Cardboard cutout maybe?

 

Upto and inc 27th Jan unless Danny pulls him.

 

is he the geeky looking lad with glasses? looks like a chess player rather than footballer. Anyway, why's he not be getting games? not good enough or attitude?

 

He's in the photos, the lad with glasses on aye. Which I assume means he's back with us. Danny reckons Bradford promised to give him regular football, and they've done nothing of the sort.

 

No thats the gay one off Emmerdale ure thinking of.

 

It did say Entire squad so maybe its a show of strength for The club in the community.

When you saw Williams t'other day, do we reckon he was saying goodbye then?

 

Shame that he can't get in the Bradford PA side, heard good things about him pre-season.

 

Williams could have been discussing terms of a permanent view.... hopefully

 

I can see both sides. BPA shouldn't have promised he would play though as that should come down to his attitude in training to do enough to warrant being picked.

 

After being in a lot of his classes at school, an attitude problem is the last thing I'd expect from him. Tbh I think he should have either being loaned out to a better team or kept at Barnsley.

 

Must mean he wasn't good enough then? obviously i want him to be the next Cafu but something seems odd to send him on loan but not be played. or not even get on the bench

 

If a non league side don't want to play him I don't fancy his chances of getting a better team to take him on loan.

 

He is only a nipper but rather than send him to bradford why not keep him local. At least one of the richer non league clubs at a similarblevel wouldn't mind a punt on a few kids...

 

I think the lad's been impressive whenever I've seen him play (youth, U21's, friendly games). It could well be issues within Bradford P.A. that have prevented his selection. We'll probably never get to know the truth. But it won't stop snidey, sneering comments being made towards Smith & his abilities.

 

I've not seen him play yet but was expecting the second coming of Roberto Carlos after reading the reviews he was getting on here after a couple of pre-season friendlies. Concerning that he can't get a game at that level
