No not our George, this is a striker from Fulham.
This means they will line up with 2 George Williams in the team.
Could be a bit of a nightmare for the kit man.

I have just noticed that. The moral being if you want to play for MKD change your name to George Williams.

Reminds me of other times this has happened down the years. Plymouth Argyle had two Johnny Williams in the late 1950s, one a wing half and one an inside forward. I seem to remember John Arlott (yes, he did commentate on football in the winter season, but poorly) calling one of them Johnny 'Army' Williams because he had been in the army and the other plain John Williams. Darlington had two Jim Smith's in the 1950s. I think it was Alistair Ward's book about Barnsley in which he says that, when they eventually sold one of them, no one could work out which one had been sold.
