No way he's ever going to score the amount of runs he costs us through dropped catches. And aren't umpires who can't spot the most blatant lbw ever great?
I always admire how calm and serene cricketers are when a decision has gone against them. Shane Warne must have been thinking 'blind *******!'
Ridiculous. It was plum. Although you have to admire Trescothick doing the old 'looking at bat' trick. Even though it was about ten feet away from the ball when it hit his leg.
Yeah but ... no but .. yeah but ... no but. What goes around comes around, stop whingeing you lemon streaked, fishtailed styled Aussie whingers, get on with it. Brett Lee, FFS.
RE: Yeah but ... Took the abuse in good spirit. Apart from the attempts to decapitate our openers. Mind you, if they kept their eye on the ball, maybe they wouldn't get hit so often?
RE: It pitched 10 miles outside off stunp ... Nice to see us get a bit of luck against the aussies though...
leg andy - if it pitches outside leg stump it can't be given out. if it pitches outside off, it must hit the pads in front of the wickets unless the batsman offers no shot
Never out in a month of Sundays...... Rulez are rulez, if we had been given that I would have laughed my balls off as it should never be given out.
He waved his bat at it , I wouldnt have given it. Warne would have gotten a lot lower in his appeal if he really beleived it.
RE: He waved his bat at it , good point - he sticks his arse further in the air the more confident he is with an appeal
It spun past his bat , unless I am talking about a different ball , I was a long way away from the telly when I was in the pub having me lunch.
RE: It spun past his bat , Last ball before tea, mate. Left Trescothick all ends up and caught him right in front of the wicket.
