I have never read such a negeative set of postings as i have on here. First of all, EVERYTHING is Daveys fault. When he finally gets a desrved push in the right drirection, its Don Rowing who is useless, poor Rob Knowles is apprently on holiday and cops for a load of stick !!
If they take their time in selecting a new manager, their dragging their feet in typical BFC fashion, if an announcement was made today it would be a rash decision. Mark Robins has no experience at this level (good job someone gave the inexperienced Danny boy a chance eh?)
The stay away Davey haters have no reason to stay away from Oakwell now (what other excuses will they come up with) I am not saying agree with everything done at Oakwell, but for gods sake this is getting ridiculous. The main reason we are here is because we care for and support BFC. But to read some of the posts you would hardly beleive it.
If i were PC i would seriously think about walking away, because thats what some of this drivel deserves. Just wait and see what happens, then get behind the new gaffer and the team.

Half of them want an experienced guy whose managed at this level. What did Spackman (who got Sheff U to a play-off place) do for us?
Completely agree The club should take their time and maybe they'll get the right man. THEN GET BEHIND HIM.
Unfortunately The people who that applies to will take no notice, the people who agree with you are people who already don't behave like that.
Totally agree. This board is doing damage to our club. It is creating lots of negativity. SUPPORT SUPPORT SUPPORT, THAT'S WHAT THIS CLUB NEEDS. If you don't like what you see, than ***k off and support someone else, if you can manage a bit of support that is or stay around and give the new manager and the team SUPPORT Remember we are SUPPORTERS not consumers.
I've wanted Davey out for some time, but only after he had been in charge for a reasonable period of time and only after he was clearly taking his team backwards. Results this season have proved that beyond question. Davey wasn't my choice when he was appointed but I gave him a chance due to the fact that many managers come from relative obscurity to have succesful careers. Whoever takes over will be fully supported by me in the same way that every other manager who has managed the club in my 20 years of following the Reds. As for those who are having a go at us so called Davey haters, I will just keep pointing you to the fact that his team has been gradually getting worse. Results prove that and cannot be argued against. It was time for him to go. I'd like to give my thanks to Simon for the cup run. I don't have much else to thank him for. I'm not going to lavish praise on any manager for just keeping us in the second tier of English football and I'm certainly not going to thank him (or any other manager) for his hard work as that should be a given, certainly for the type of money he was on. Move on. Look forward and back the new manager. Davey had his time and failed and was correctly relived of his duties.
To be honest I cant believe the way people are arguing over people they know **** all about. Ulitimately does'nt matter who we as fans want as manager only the club know the ones who are genuinly interested for all we know that individual may or may not have made an enquiry tentative or otherwise and may then have distanced himself from the position for reasons of his own moneywise or other. Is unbelievable really that some people think that after a succession of managerial disasters the club will not employ the best possible available candidate within the terms they can offer And quite frankly the stuff thats been written on here slagging off Robins before he's even been offered the job (if indeed it gets it) beggars belief especially when many of the same people have slagged others off vehemently for not giving others at least a fecking chance (furious)
here here S red and MPM Totally agree with both of you,we have a little time to name our new manager lets hope this time its the correct one because after watching BFC for more than 30+years and a season ticket holder, under Davey i actually contemplted cutting the grass on a sat afternoon at 3 was going to become a reality.**** the cup run had great times ,but failed. Think somehow our new manager is going to be N Adkins.
Totally agree Robins or who ever gets the job can't win with some of the misery peddlers who come on here.
