http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/22336538 The owners at Blackburn are clearly nutty and I don't for a minute condone the way they've gone about hiring and firing managers, but how can you do a job for only 57 days, not very well I may add, and be owed £2.25 million? No wonder football clubs are in such debt if these are the type of compensation packages that have to be paid to failed managers. I know it goes against the grain to stick up for the barmy goings on at Blackburn, but that's just not right. I did a job for about 57 days once. I wasn't very good at it either. I think I got about twenty quid when I left for owed holiday money. I reckon that's about how much Henning Berg was worth.
Are they ready for hiring yet?...hope there's still chance to get my CV in...I'll last the full 57 days...probably not do a worse job and I'll settle for half the money..Mr Shebby Singhs phone number anyone got it?
If you started now, you could probably last a lot longer than 57 days before they realised that you were just as bad. There is an entire pre-season to go through, so you might make 100days and double the payout
I'm getting excited about it all now..I always did like the Blackburn shirt..will it help if I say I love roast chicken?and perhaps I might even be able to loan Jordan Rhodes to Flicker.....god I can hardly think straight !!..everyones a winner if this comes off.
Just proves what amateurs the current owners at Blackburn are. Berg would have chopped his arms off for a 6 month contract, they give him 2,5 years. Never understood how he got the job in the first place, they can't have researched much on his managerial record in Norway...
