<p class="imgRight"> </p> Rosenborg striker Steffen Iversen is keen on a return to England to play for former club Wolverhampton Wanderers.</p> Wolves manager Mick McCarthy is reportedly lining up a loan deal for the 31-year-old, who featured for Wolves during season 2003/04 after spending seven years at Tottenham.</p> Iversen is preparing for Rosenborg’s final Champions League group stage game at Schalke on Tuesday and a draw in Gelsenkirchen will ensurehis team progress through to the tournament’s knockout stage after Christmas.</p> Nevertheless, Rosenborg, who finished a disappointing fifth in the Tippeligaen last season, have not played a competitive domestic fixturein over a month.</p> And, with the new season not getting underway until theend of March,the lure of regular football in The Championship with Wolves is enticing for Iversen.</p> His agent Christian Eidem revealed: “We believe this transfer could be good for Steffen.”</p>
