Him and M,voto coming up for corners would be lethal. Add Bobby to the mix and we'd be looking at 12 goals just from defence! Did we get 3 last season?
Bobby won't get a new contract, if you listen to Wilson's interview yesterday about making decisions on who he wants to retain he seemed to go on for ages about certain decisions "not being popular but in the best interests of the club", definitely on about Hassell here.
I haven't listened to the interview yet . It was fantasy talk more than anything anyway. I full expect we wont have Elokobi or Bobby next season. Maybe M'voto can get 12 on his own then?
Definitely gives the opposition something to think about at corners, we need more players like that though as we've been lightweight at corners for years and hardly ever score from them.
It's a strange one with him because we know he has the quality but this is the first time he's gone a full season looking very poor. I don't think he'll be given a new deal though as he's been consistently on the bench of a losing side and replaced in the team by a 32-year-old who can only last 70 minutes.
But is Bobby lethal from corners? I know he's not played much recently but I don't ever recall him being lethal from corners.
I meant as a 3 they'd be lethal. But yes Bobby is very dangerous from attacking set pieces. His standing jump is up there with the best.
He looked really good in the Wolves friendly this season. I was hoping he might come the other way in the Golbourne deal. Would be a great signing imo.
