At the end of the day...

People join the army for a reason.

And it ain't to see the sights of the world.

Sorry to say; but it's true.

    You would.

But, at the end of the day if you were playing paintball, you wouldn't go into a game with a Super Soaker 3000 would you?

    Brains? Thinking? Works...

I don't buy the bad equipment arguement. I did when I thought they were on about snatch ladn rovers being blown up, but have you seen the size of those bison(?) that are still getting blown up, huge.

Anyway, more to the point, what's this got to do with the Reds?

880,000 British Soldiers died in WW1
340,000 British Soldiers died in WW2

100,000+ Iraq civilians have been killed since the Iraq invasion.
57 Killed last Thursday with 30 the day before.

20,000+ Afghan civilians killed since 2001

It' sad that 184 of our guys have been killed, but there over their doing a job - If we simply dug our heads in the sand and thought everything would turn out peaceful, we may as well press the button now.

There's obviously a massive push going on in Halmend province. Where the insergents they're up against have held and had plenty of time to plan and plant their attacks. Small roadside bomb, followed by 2nd larger one and then attacking the rescue choppers. Just shows how organised (and desperate) these people are.

It's a pity some of the work shy 19-25 year olds sat on their arses playing CallofDuty on their PS3's and Xbox's weren't made to go out and do a tour.

Of course no one joins to get killed. Can you imagine the advert?

At the end of the day, these guys are defending their country. They are expected to fight, and yes, oftentimes die for their country. I know it's not a nice thing to say, but, these people do have a choice; they didn't have to join the ARMED FORCES. They had a choice!

    I know, it's very evident.

Take it out on a couple of punch-bags.
