Truly outstanding player, an all time great. I agree with you with regards to that game and witnessed a recording of the entire match when I was about eight, not knowing the result. Not only were Real Madrid brilliant (Di Stefano, Puskas, Kopa, Gento, et al), but Eintracht Frankfurt, too, were a top notch side having slaughtered Rangers 12-4 on aggregate in the Semi-Final (Madrid beat Barcelona 6-2 over the two legs in theirs). English champions Wolves lost 9-2 on aggregate to Barcelona in the Quarter Finals. God, I'm a boring, old fart!
