https://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/gianluca-vialli-chelsea-pancreatic-cancer-b2248578.html Hadn't realised he'd been having such horrible health issues. Hope he manages to overcome everything a second time but it doesn't sound good.
Very sad to read. For his 87 year old mother to come to London from Italy it doesn't sound like he's long left. His performance at Oakwell in the Premier League is one of the best I have ever seen against us. We didn't help matters by giving Le Saux freedom of the pitch all game though.
Only just found out that Sinisa Mijhailovic (great Yugoslav/Serb player) died last week of leukaemia. Enjoy every day that you get. That’s my mantra. Attack everything positively. Because life is negative and tough enough as it is.
Thoughts are with his family. Fantastic player, I hate the quote I'm about to say because it's stupid but, 'on his day he was unplayable'
We kept Zola quiet though, lad didn't get a kick! Horrible disease, thoughts with him and his family as they face it.
