Another sign of ridiculous wages Bolton are paying. They are nearly £200 million in debt and paying somebody who has made four first team appearances enough money to turn down regular football with a side who are capable of achieving promotion a league below.
If that tweet is factual, then LJ's having a mare. Didn't want Waring or Oates, doesn't want Lalkovic, three lads who grafted for the shirt and wanted to be here, but quite happy to push through a loan deal for an arrogant, unwanted kid from Bolton's stiffs who doesn't want to be here.
Got to agree Whitey. There are plenty of positives and lots of potentially good/exciting signings coming or happened. But don't get his interest in this lad. I'm yet to read any really positive comments about him. If we could have got Waring for same price would seem a no brainer. And Lalkovic and Bailey are still potentially very good L1 players in the right team, playing the right way. We curently have Marley Watkins and Mike Phenix as our only other wide players. In a League where two good wide players and a decent striker (Winnall) can win you games on their own. If LJ and BM have anything about them or anything between the ears we'll be seeing at least 2 decent wingers signing fairly soon. Otherwise can see us struggling.
