Never been a fan of the drum solo

Bit too much like jazz (which is musical masturbation in my eyes).

Never done it for me... Not a big fan on solos per se..

I awlways remember the Alexi Sayle joke about the English guys trekking through the jungle with the native trekkers. They hear the drums beating in the distance and the English guys start to panic. One of he natives turns round and says " It's when the drum stops that you have to worry, because that is when the guitar solo starts".

Not heard it... I thought his drumming on the PIL album was good... but that was just keeping the rhythm.

Best drum solo at a gig was Cozy Powell, closely followed by Neil Peart - but other than those they are cr*p
